Some rules for this Instance.
Mastodon is supposed to work as if each instance was a subreddit, that's the point of the local feed. While we do enjoy the off-topic conversation, the main voice should be around Linux and technologies.

Remember you have the ability to send followers-only posts - which will show up to your followers, but not in the local feed - or even to post directly to a given user within the mastodon network.

When you post something offensive, it shows up in the Local feed. Since this instance is dedicated to Linux and a Collaboration of technologies we do not tolerate obscene behavior. While we oppose the idea of censorship, we also do not want a toxic area for our users.

This Instance is made possible by the generous donations of our users. If you want to Donate please use the links below:

What is Mastodon?

Mastodon is a social network based on open web protocols and free, open-source software. It is decentralized like e-mail.

Built for real conversation
With 500 characters at your disposal and support for granular content and media warnings, you can express yourself the way you want to.
You’re a person, not a product
Mastodon is not a commercial network. No advertising, no data mining, no walled gardens. There is no central authority.
Always within reach
Multiple apps for iOS, Android, and other platforms thanks to a developer-friendly API ecosystem allow you to keep up with your friends anywhere.
A more humane approach
Learning from failures of other networks, Mastodon aims to make ethical design choices to combat the misuse of social media.
