That would be like saying that Bash contradicts the Unix philosophy. Emacs does one thing well, interpret emacs lisp.

@yisraeldov Emacs is not from UNIX, of course, it's based on pre-UNIX LISP/ITS TECO editor.

Bash violates the "thou shalt not run shitty software that just loads viruses" principle, use literally any other shell.
