So, in short: Activate TPM if you want to use LUKS to encrypt your hard drive (with "a high risk and effort"), or you want to install Windows 11 or use Bitlocker kon any Windows version).

So mostly you don't need it at all when running Linux? If so, then why is it usually activated?
