Looked into (security relevant) default settings of vanilla MX Linux install and documented my findings. Depending on feedback, I might look into other #linux (desktop) distros as well.
I never actually used the phrase "surfing the web" before, as I've grown up mostly on social media feeds, but now that I'm going down open source rabbit holes and exploring personal sites from fediverse users, I can see what it's all about:
Riding a wave of websites, code, and people across the internet
Think when it comes to #Fediverse then the #SocialHub community made a good start, but to take it further there's need for dedicated people to keep the innovation processes going and towards #interoperability and #interconnectivity
Forging something that rises beyond apps and into #SocialFabric formation. Something where everyone can find their place.

Converted AberMUSH to snake case. AberMUSH was really the first Python program of any size that I mostly wrote, and so the code is comically messy in places. Over time I am adding more DnD-like rules, and also trying to give the universe more depth. https://gitlab.com/bashrc2/AberMUSH
This blog entry on Syncthing mirrors my own experiences using it recently (in the last week).
