Now this is Social Engineering.
Stuttering John live records his vishing (voice phishing / conning over the phone) of the White House.
He actually gets in touch with President Trump on Airforce One.

Nothing like receiving a pleasant reconnecting message from a decades-old friend who randomly spotted one of your messages on Mastodon to make you feel like federation is absolute magic.
I really like #StandardNotes' author, Mo Bitar. Here's a recent piece of his speaking to tech companies continuing M.O of deprioritizing end-to-end #encryption of your personal data.
"How much longer will we continue to give private corporations the benefit of the doubt with our privacy and data? It’s time for real change." https://journal.standardnotes.org/encryption-must-come-standard-b5ba7b87a422 #privacy #security

@garbados We're already at the point where local communities could run their own power & Internet utilities today. The main barrier is the existing monopoly providers. The fact that ISPs can sue cities to stop them from providing their own Internet is just mindboggling to me.
@ChrisWere Honestly with the people here kinds of reminds me of the old bbs days except no one here is uploading porn that will turn a stomach haha
Wow, my odroid go has shipped! That was sooner than expected.

Another Cyberwagon update. 150 or so miles into this tank of gas and I'm still sitting just above 47 mpg. Pretty happy with that.
One of the genius things about the Prius is the information it shows you about the power systems and being able to see how you're driving habits effect your efficiency. It almost feels like a game trying to be as efficient as possible.
I have Nextcloud, Syncthing, Gitea, Pleroma and rTorrent on one Raspberry Pi. And it uses 500MB of RAM. How cool is that?

Cyberwagon mileage update:
After filling up last night and driving to work this morning, my avg. mpg is 49.6.
I don't expect it to stay that high as I continue driving but it should stay above 40 I think.
I didn't know Humble Bundle does non-game software... They're offering PIA, SpiderOak, ProtonMail, etc. subscriptions, with proceeds going to EFF et al.
