Literally and shamelessly added -begging AKA page to my blog 😅 😅
Not only I accept conventional channels for donation but also unconventional channels added such as and .
If you don't know what's Yenten, it's an altcoin which I am very interested in.
E-begging page FYI: blog.madadipouya.com/donate/
🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣

Just wish that had a feature to give users the ability to customize their own federated timeline.

To be honest Linuxrocks.online is the best instance for me because I see only what I really interested in which is and technology stuff. Hopefully, it continues this way.

Holy shit I can just follow @blender which isn't even a Mastodon instance but a Peertube instance and it just WORKS. ActivityPub is AWESOME

In my entire microblogging life whether on , , or , I've never ever blocked someone.
Today I did 'muted' someone, not even blocking, for the first time and hopefully for the last time.
I'm a very open-minded and tolerable person but I have the allergy to lies especially on sensitive subjects. I can't accept lies. I care about facts only.

My recommendation to and users is when using `rm -rf` add `-v` switch to see what files are getting deleted. It runs slower but helps you to notice early when you did something stupid.
For instance, two days ago I wanted to delete `.deb` files. I typed: `rm -rvf ~/proj/*. Then got distracted by something else. I went back to terminal and pressed enter. The entire of my source folder was getting deleted, thanks to `-v` I noticed it early and managed to prevent the disaster halfway.

For a very specific thing, I had to check my . Out of the blue I saw an embarrassing trending (13.1K ) hashtag which I'm ashamed of even naming it.
Well down Twitter. I won't be surprised if tomorrow see worse hashtags. Sad for people who are using Twitter actively. They are in such a poisonous platform and surely their mental wellbeing will be affected.

So a while back I went on a bindge and purchased a bunch of domains. Now they just sit their and do nothing. Does anyone have any thoughts on what to do with them and better yet any volunteers to help do something with them?

linux.doctor
linux.observer
linux.report (Lime Survey currently)
gnushell.com
babble.online
babble.world

Any thoughts on cool things to do with them or any volunteers to do something with them?

When maintainer rants about in man page.
😂😂😂😂😂😂

I really like the design and mindsets behind Pocket. But the keyboard layout just looks horrible. Especially in Pocket 2 that they changed layout again and removed trackpoint.

Just accidentally clicked on "Trending" button of YouTube. Indeed, the contents there are just horrible.
Rarely, I see good quality new materials on YouTube which mostly are not trending. New productions are junk or clickbait garbage.

Just had a look at ( alternative). It looks promising and can't wait to be production ready.
It's surprising and interesting that Plume is developed using . I have zero knowledge about Rust but I always thought it's mainly used for system programming.

To be honest hearing 's new encryption algorithm will be added to kernel makes me uncomfortable, even though that many experts verified that it's safe.
To me it's like asking a robber to install a security system for your house.

ranking system is an obvious example to prove what is discussed is not just a conspiracy theory.

Or they just pretend to delete because we as consumers don't have access to see what is happening.
My recommendation is don't share your personal pictures on any platforms whether it's federated or not. Whether it's Google drive or Dropbox or Instagram or ....

Again the main concern is the miss use of data.
In federated FOSS platforms things are more transparent. Transparency lowers down the corruption rate and the data is not accumulated in a centralized place and in hands of few authorities.
But take Instagram for example. We don't know what's happening behind the scene. Whether they sell users pictures for profit, like what some companies did. Even if they don't sell it, how they use your data and do really delete your data when you requesting.
