My Android phone's display is being mirrored to this projector without wires and with only default software (Samsung's "Smart View," available in the pull down menu next to WiFi, Bluetooth, Airplane Mode, etc.).

Hmm... Very convenient.

Stumbled across this video on PeerTube about sharing an Android screen to another device. Exactly one of the things I've been wanting to do, and I found a video about it even though I wasn't looking for it!

Is there a way to install downloaded updates on all apps in F-Droid? I have to do each one individually, and it takes so long x.x

I can download updates for all apps, but cannot install updates for all.

Tor Browser got an update recently and now it looks really modern. Based on Firefox 60 ESR.

Been trying for the past few days to rescue my router. I got it to boot with an initramfs image that I served up over tftp! But I'm not able to SSH into it after that.

I also tried serving up a version of LEDE instead that supposedly works with the router. That didn't work and left me with the same symptoms as before.

Finally, I think I found an OEM image, buried in a MacOS download. Will try serving that tonight!

Decluttering my external HDD. I think I found my first Linux distro. Right next to a screenshot from Windows of my Launchy config.

Unix will give you enough rope to shoot yourself in the foot. If you didn’t think rope would do that, you should have read the man page.

Oops I think I bricked my router.

As far as I can tell, I was supposed to use a Windows utility to finish the router's firmware update. That wasn't in the manual >.>

I was able to use my new machine to boot into my Debian drive (after I remembered that I had to disable Secure Boot).

Was also able to create and export the freshest backup of my Evolution data.

Very handy, Linux!

New computer. Got a 5th gen X1 Carbon! Decided to try out something fresher than Debian stable since it's a newer computer. Also, Ark-Darker looks really nice!

I was thinking about making a backup image of Windows, but nah.

I can't try out Ubuntu or Debian on Windows because "something happened" with the Windows store. That was the error notification I got.

Windows is a mess xP I'm just trying to install Linux, but these downloads are taking forever because something else is hogging resources. And what's up with the blurry fonts in the system dialogs?

If I were to take out the bootable SSD from my computer and put it into an enclosure, would I be able to boot from it in another computer as normal after selecting it in the UEFI?

I assume it depends on how different the systems are from each other. Am I right? Does anyone have experience doing this?
