Privacy Browser for Android has replaced with as their default search engine for new installs in version 2.12.

There's several reasons for the switch, but the most noteworthy one is that uses trackers on their website. —

@hund DDG is US based so I never have trusted them much. Just slightly more than google. Been using searx for the past year now

I am currently still using duckduckgo, but trackers just really suck

I mean, I am running Blokada on my phone and uBlock on my Linux box, which should both prevent them from tracking me, but hell... This is mighty disappointing...

@Antanicus µBlock Origin on Firefox catches them for me. :) But I have actually already switched over to Searx long before this.
