@gaogeg
Howdy and welcome to our corner of , hope you enjoy your time here

@ChrisWere Thanks Chris! Have been watching you on youtube for quite a while, thanks for the great content!

@gaogeg Thanks, that's really nice of you to say :-)

@ChrisWere It was your review of manjaro i3 that convinced me to move from KDE, haven't looked back! Love beiing able to do everything at the keyboard and assigning shortcut keys so easily. What are you using nowadays?

@gaogeg Glad to hear you're enjoying it. I always like playing around with i3. I'm still on 17.10, but any distribution that can run AppImages and Steam works for me these days.

I've got Linux MX running on my laptop, which is also ticking along nicely.

@gaogeg hey you have some nice work on your instagram! We have a community dedicated to Free Software for photographers at pixls.us and we'd love it if you joined us!

@paperdigits thanks! Love the site! Have read a few articles there but will have to visit more often!

@gaogeg Welcome aboard! Great photos, I'm currently traveling around SEA and your photos look very familiar!

@gaogeg don't have one sorry. Though I'm actively looking for a more open alternative for sharing photos. So far the best alternative I found is minds.com which is open but unfortunately not federated yet.
I guess mastodon is quite sufficient for photo sharing, though I think upload limit is 10MB or something like that which would make it a bit difficult.

@gaogeg I have ripped some TV shows from streaming services that region lock. Where do I share them?

@lychee i suppose it depends on what you have and who you want to give access to it. I guess the easiest thing to do would be to put it on tpb or a private tracker. Is it something that is not already available online?

@gaogeg It could go on TPB, I reckon. It's something thats not already available... that I can find.

@gaogeg And it's a good HD rip with subtitles.
