computers are good, because before computers, they didn't have "mark as read" buttons, so people actually had to read things

A proposal, dear reader: Create a list of bookmarks linking to websites you find interesting, and publish it for the world to see. It's a bit strange, almost nobody seems to be doing this. Looking through a sample of personal websites, very few of them has links to other personal websites. A hyperlink isn't a marriage proposal. It is enough to find some redeeming quality in a website to link to it.

Stop messing around and run linux.

Going to mostly give up on using a .xyz domain I have and go to a boring .com. I've run into issues with emails not being sent to me, going to spam when sending, and SMS messages getting blocked that contain .xyz links... I'd like to fight the good fight for it since it is a totally legitimate TLD but it is really hampering me.

Finally spending some time with my MNT Reform, my goodness this is nice. The attention to detail and amount of work that went into this blows my mind.

I've been playing Super Mario World on a SNES the past few days, never played it before, having a lot of fun.

I happened to turn on my Switch, it had a system update and updates for a lot of the games too.

Looking at there seems to be 41 updates to the Switch in the past 4 years.

The SNES has not been updated in 30 years.

devs of bloated software should have to make a pilgrimage to bangladesh and inhale the fumes of the e-waste burn pits to understand the carbon footprint of their bloaty software causing people to buy new computers.
