A reminder that this Black Friday, rather than putting on an enormous sale, @itchio will be donating their entire revenue share from all sales on the site to a pair of LGBTQ+ and climate change charities

So many sites do:

“Here are cookie, advertising, tracking policies. Here is an OK button.”

After not clicking the ok button but attempting to continue:

“You must agree to our tracking policy”

That is explicitly not allowed/illegal under GDPR.

American companies including the Washington Post really have a damn hard time wrapping their head around that an agreement means you can decline to agree to it, and GDRP says refusing to be tracked is not grounds for a site to refuse service.

I added Pixelfed to Producthunt
It already has 42 upvotes. But If we give it a push as Mastodon users, it can become nr 1 of the day easily.

it will help to influence how Pleroma and other fediverse project development is done in the future.

Come January I am not going to be able to host Would there be anyone who would be willing to take over the hosting? I might be able to host it back in the future but with my job shifting around I am not sure if I will be able to host it.

Don't worry about linuxrock mastodon instance. It is not going anywhere and have this covered.

mediumly left-wing

So I created a new PeerTube instance:

I have more general plans for as well, although 'tis basically empty at present. I think there's room for basically all media, including lifestyle stuff, and news, from an inclusive point of view. For a class very much concerned with consciousness, this stuff is surprisingly lacking.
