I'm somewhat happy to be blissfully unaware of whatever bull is going down on birdsite.

Knights of Light / Kickstarter.

Historical AAA action RPG set in Middle East.

The devs: "We believe gamers should play their games on the platform they prefer. Unlike most studios we can ALWAYS support Linux systems without worrying about costs thanks to our location in Egypt in Africa.

A studio that will ALWAYS support Linux systems. A type of games that is not very common on Linux. We even plan to have DRM free release".

Solus is a fine new Linux distribution and here's a treat.

Join the Solus team on their summertime hackfest where they work on goodies for Budgie (desktop) 10.5 and improvements to Cuppa (a tracker).

It takes place on Saturday, August 4th at 10am Eastern Time / 2pm GMT, meaning LIVE in 90 minutes now!

Ikey "The Linux Badass" Doherty cannot join since he has been kidnapped. (No really he has a flu).

Mystery donation lets a popular Linux distro of elementaryOS (eOS) hire Cassidy James full time!

Recently James worked for the Linux endorsing PC makers System76.

Daniel Foré, the founder of eOS writes:

"Without giving too much away about Cassidy’s salary, I would say that it’s enough that we can confidently hire him and have time to raise our revenue streams and make sure it’s a sustainable growth."

A humble request for all the #fediverse #devs: please, we need a #singlelogin for all the various services. Imagine having your mastodon account and logging with that to #pixelfed or #peertube... that would be a killer feature. Any work already been done in that direction that I don't know of?
