DXVK is a Vulkan-based D3D11 implementation for Linux / Wine.

GTA V started running over Vulkan via Wine on Linux just yesterday with a "few hacks".

Framerate seems much more stable. The DXVK project is the work of a developer named doitsujin, who has been kicking ass lately!

It's not stable right now and the game is NOT playable, but the signs are: maybe in not so distant future GTA V can be played on Linux.
