Youtube nowadays makes you feel un-easy?

Switch to PeerTube!

PeerTube is a free as in freedom +decentralized video sharing and soon possibly even streaming platform.

The good people and developers Framasoft have a roadmap for version 3 of Peertube.

It includes all the things one needs, IN FREEDOM.

Say goodbye to Google (Goolag) oppression.

All about it here, please support if able ==>

@Linux @Framasoft I love the idea, but can you recommend some nice instances with english contents that are not run by conspiracy nutjobs?

@hunger @Linux Hi! Pouhiou, here. Early august I've browsed over +100 instances, and added those I thought had nice original content to Framatube's federation bubble: .
Oh, and just today, I've found out about that seems nice (but I need to dig in).
We'll also try to update selection in September (I wish and want and hope: time is so scarce!)

Here is my concern: I produce a video, then I want to share it. If I choose a peertube instance, what happens if the maintainer of that instance loses interest or gets shmucked by a truck?

Choosing it's instance is the most complicated thing to do when you join Peertube. You need to choose carefully.
The best option could be to find an company that runs instances for you the way @mastohost does for Mastodon.
