Folks I don't know how many of you know Greg @G_Dog1985 he has been a essential part of LR since the beginning and is still the person who does all the maintenance to the server to keep us updated and secure.

He has unfortunately fell on some difficult times. He has had cancer for sometime and his grandpa is also ill and cannot work leaving it all on the shoulders of his mother to support the house. If you have any pocket change to share here is a good cause

Reading passwords from accelerometer data? Jesus, that's brilliant

git-o-matic, a tool to monitor git repositories and automatically pull & push changes:

This is great to keep your notes folder or temporary workspaces synced (if I may say so myself).

My language syntax is becoming quite advanced. Let's see if the core part of it remains easy to use once finished.

Only really working on the app during weekends, so the first public release is still some months away.

While my super advanced yet supposedly simple to use app project doesn't produce any real output yet, I can actually already use it for it's core notetaking purpose, since the syntax is an extension of (not a superset though, as indented code interferes with the design)

The typical use case seems to produce on steroids

but the plain text files are still surprsingly readable, so basing it on markdown was definitely a good design choice

using 7 at work and currently 15 windows open. Out of all the features that offers by default i currently miss virtual desktops the most

is it called windows because one is mostly occupied with managing windows?

The solution isn't that complex though, just needs some more overhead instead of directly matching with a large regex, though the debugging was frustrating, since the regex without backreference matched correctly

One little non-obvious detail about regular expression backreferences invalidates my whole design so far 😩

starting to feel the downsides of having a physics instead of computer science degree

Funny how docstrings in are counted as single lines of code (by github at least).
It makes sense regarding that they are actually used by the interpreter, but intuitively they just feel like comments

finally uploaded the full repository of my project to github. It's private for now, but I will release a public version once it has some actual useful features and the core design is established.

wrote a file for the first time ever and it took the better part of a day 😅
but I guess you can expect more regular development updates from me now

Finally written enough code to make my hacky markdown-like parser work... took way too long

Crap, let's make it a poll now:

Is AMD back? Please boost
