Mastodon absolutely needs a way to absolutely mute #hashtags. People are starting to toot about sportsball and it annoys the hell out of me that I cannot mute these toots, because I am, in absolutely no way, interested in seeing those ever.

And basically, regex text filtering is necessary as well. I'm afraid though this will only be possible with proper API client applications.
