@ChrisWere qrencode is great too, I first found it in a guide for setting up wireguard.

Super easy way to transfer configuration files or other bits of short text, URL, etc.

for example:
qrencode -t ansiutf8 < wpa_supplicant.conf

@ChrisWere neat thing! I previously used Python's qrcode library to print them straight to the terminal with control characters

Yep, you can even set up TOTP via the terminal and you get a QR code (with Google's implementation, at least, not familiar with others)
