Tried out the latest version of Kdenlive today. It's still pretty unusable.
It crashed on me during exporting, which led me to having to redo the video in an older version and the performance is still worse than previous versions.
I really hope it gets back on track. Also, thank god for AppImages.
I tried Kdenlive but suffered with the instability. A shame because it looks good but just too many crashes. I looked around and ended up using blender 2.8 although it is much more than a video editor it is stable and very competent for the task. I found the learning curve was fairly steep but there are many YouTube videos to help with that.
Oooh! Does this mean a new video is finally coming?
Olive could be a solution, which at the same time could result in a thoughts on Olive type thing.
@ChrisTalleras I've tried Olive, but I've run into to many bugs. It also has some of the same UI issues that the new Kdenlive has.
For all it's faults, Kdenlive's still the only video editor I've found usable.
I really hate being so negative on this, but it's one of the reason I don't really recommend Linux as much as I used to.
Yeah, I can understand that
@ChrisWere That's a real shame, hope they sort It out soon. 😔
