For the web devs / software engineers out there. What do you think of timed coding tests in the interview process? I'm a front end dev and just bombed a coding test getting 1 out of 3 questions correct dealing with array manipulation that I've never used in real life before. I have no doubt this will cost me the interview because I didn't know these more obscure problems. But I want to know what you think.
@AsteroidMiner I think those tests are bullshit. At my job we ask for an assignment, candidates have like one week to submit it and can do it from their home / wherever. We just ask them to limit the time they spend on it or to justify why they spent more time. I think it's great! 😊

@AsteroidMiner was just emailed one where I have to answer 2 questions in 4 hours. What this means is I should finish it in 2 hours so I can use the restroom in peace...
